Newer, better, faster, cooler.
This is supposed to be the face of the new Warner Brothers Cartoons. This is supposed to reprent the appeals of children everywhere. I say it’s a bunch of fucking bullshit. When i grew up, there was simple shit, with simple humor and slapstick humor. It seems like Warner Brothers is trying to compete with Anime for the top slot.
Big moneymaking franchises like Pokemon, Digimon, and whatever the fuck is out there and popular now, they’ve already got their pound of flesh; the market is no longer about bringing over things that people like (as if it ever was, yeah, right) but instead how they can make a bigger splash. Things like those anime shows with watered down plots, disgustingly retarded characters with shitty dialogue and endless screenshots of eyewateringly bright colors (prompting epileptic seizures amongst the general populace) do us all a great disservice by telling adults (who really care less and less about what their kids do) that anime = cartoons for kids. So when kids see things like that mindless drivel, it’s totally cool for them to go out and get shit that’s more geared to adults. Of course, when Mommy and Daddy see little johnny watching shit like Bible Black, they automatically deny all responsibility and lay responsibility on someone else.
But I digress.
Warner Brothers is trying to compete. Why? They’ve got a good product as it is; fun for the whole damned family. sure, it’s out of date, but why bring in this pointless fucking stupidity? It’s not accomplishing anything but trying (and failing) to ‘modernize’ the cartoons that are meant for kids. Sometimes I wonder whether or not it’s worth it. Honestly, you want your kids to see this shit?
