What Does Japan Do With 138,000 Used Metro Tickets?

Yes, I know we’ve already covered that most bizarre things come from Japan, but we’re seriously running out of things to write about.

So Japan decides to recycle 138,000 Tokyo Metro tickets. What can come of this?

It’s so… beautiful.

Do you mean that the tickets have been put face up one above the other, and that their side “sections” (those 0.1 mm high rectangules) make up this sort of murale?
