Eat Up Your Lego Blocks, Children!

Posted by: Shaun In: General

Remember when we pointed out a few slightly bizarre products that spawned in Japan? Well, I don’t think it’s fair that we just marginalise the Japanese as being the culprits for strange stuff.

So, today we bring you something that is currently being distributed in America. Kellogg’s™ Lego® Fruit Flavored Snacks!

That’s right, Lego blogs you can actually eat and surely the most retarded and dangerous snack ever created!

What a really stupid idea. Judging by the box it looks as though it’s designed for kids, so it’s not a limited edition product for adults to laugh at the irony.

I don’t know what they look like out of the box, but how can small kids distinguish between food shaped lego and actual lego. It’s like making bear trap shaped food for bears, except scientifically they probably have a higher rate of smell and visualisation so they could probably tell the difference. Besides, you know what I mean. It’s insanity.

I know, parents spend years educating their kids on ‘how not to eat blocks’ and then a sicko from Kelloggs has the balls to release this product.

It really is friggin’ stupid.

I hadn’t thought of that risk. It turns a funny news into a serious preoccupation.

Just for the record, can someone please explain to me how the kellogg’s url begins with ‘www2′? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Heh, I never even noticed that part of the URL. I had to look it up myself and to quote:

“WWW1, WWW2 or even WWW3 is nothing but a mirror of the original web server which is typical http://WWW. Many websites like government, banks even major search engines like Google(www1.google.com or www2.google.com) and Yahoo(www1.yahoo.com or www2.yahoo.com)! uses www1 and www2. The main purpose of this techniques is to reduce server load.”

Only in America…Only in America.

I think Kellogs wanted to create a friendly association between food and play in the minds of consumers. I guess they were to busy eating lego blocks to stop and think about the consequences though :)

Anyway, as sadistic as this may sound, I’m going to laugh when some kid trys to *eat* the box because it’s square xD
